About the Author
Tommy Carter
For more than two decades, Tommy Carter has enjoyed real estate sales as an
agent, a sales manager, and a company owner. During this time he has personally
trained and coached hundreds of new and experienced real estate agents to list
and sell real estate.

In real estate, Mr. Carter favors direct mail over most forms of advertising, because
prospects can be targeted more efficiently. It is far more cost effective to mail your
message to a few hundred qualified prospects than to pay to reach 100,000
newspaper readers or television viewers who may or may not be qualified. Target

Prior to entering real estate, Mr. Carter and his wife,
Jennifer, were the founding
owners of a magazine publishing company. In addition to magazines, the company
published craft books, cook books, and other ancillary publications, including
programs for Freedom Weekend Aloft in Greenville, SC, the Southern Open Golf
Tournament in Columbus, GA, and the Greenville, SC Chamber of Commerce
annual meeting.

Mr. Carter holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of
Georgia. He is currently Broker-in-Charge of the Columbia Metro office of Russell
& Jeffcoat Realtors, the largest independent real estate company in South Carolina.
